What we do — and don't do — with your information.

AL is a show about the most private conversations people have. That's exactly why we keep this page in plain English, and why we collect as little as possible.

What this website collects

Nothing automatically. This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers or analytics pixels. Browsing altheshow.com or altheshow.ai does not create a profile of you.

What you choose to send us. If you fill out the Join form, we receive what you type: your name, your email, which options you checked, and — if you apply to be on the show — your description of the conversation you and your partner want to work through.

How we use it

Only for what you checked. Episode alerts mean episode alerts. A show application means our small production team reads it and may contact you about appearing. Dock updates mean we email you when the dock drops. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, and we don't use your application material in any public way without a separate, explicit agreement with you.

Services we rely on

Formspree delivers the Join form to our inbox and stores submissions on our behalf (their privacy policy). YouTube plays the trailer — the video only loads after you press play, and playing it is subject to Google's privacy policy. Google Fonts serves this site's typefaces, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers. That's the whole list.

If you appear on the show

Being featured in an episode is a separate conversation with separate paperwork — a release you'll review and sign before anything is filmed or published. Applying through this site commits you to nothing.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete anything you've submitted — including a show application — at any time.

If we ever add analytics or other tools that change what's described here, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.
